About Innes House
Estate
Dating back to 1640, Innes House is a 17th-century historic Scottish manor set within more than 5,000 acres of farmland, woodlands, and landscaped gardens. At the heart of the estate lies the house itself, a striking example of Scottish architecture and heritage, offering guests a rare chance to experience the grandeur of an exclusive-use Highland estate. Beyond the manor, the Innes Estate is home to charming self-catering cottages, tenanted farms, and more than 30 dwellings scattered across the grounds. Its mix of agriculture, woodland, and conservation creates a rich landscape, sustaining an extensive range of flora, fauna, and many rare and historic trees.

Innes House
Over the centuries, the manor has undergone many transformations. Most recently, in 1995, it was restored and reimagined as a warm and welcoming family home — a place where history, hospitality, and heritage come together. Today, it offers visitors a home-from-home within a setting that feels every bit a Highland castle-style retreat.
History
From its 17th-century origins to the present day, Innes remains a dream destination for those with a love of Scottish history, art, and conservation. The estate continues to balance tradition with modern comfort, preserving its legacy while creating new stories for guests.
