Recognised as one of the most exclusive wedding venues in Scotland, Innes House offers couples a historic yet intimate castle setting for both ceremonies and receptions.
At this exclusive use venue, you and your loved ones can have the castle and grounds all to yourselves. Our tailor-made weddings give you private access to all 20 of Innes House’s beautifully appointed bedrooms, and a choice of dining and reception areas for your wedding ceremony or reception– not to mention our glorious gardens for drinks, gatherings, and those all-important photos.
With exclusive use of the castle for the duration of your stay, you can select just the right location for your wedding ceremony, from the outdoor walled garden to one of our two exquisitely designed reception rooms.
Should you wish, your day can start with a welcoming glass of champagne on the lawn, and guests can then gather in the elegant drawing rooms or take a stroll amongst the majestic 300-year-old oak, beech and redwood trees in our woodland gardens.
We can seat up to 60 guests for a ceremony and wedding breakfast in our Red Room and East Ballroom, with plenty of space around the house for drinks, photos and dancing…
For parties of 60 or more, there is the option of a marquee in our Courtyard Rose Garden, seamlessly connecting with the adjacent Ballroom so you can step from Ballroom to marquee, or we can create a fabulous marquee or tipi in the grounds, set slightly apart from the main house.
We also have 20 individually designed bedrooms that sleep up to 38 guests, as well as several self-catering holiday lets. Our romantic honeymoon suite features an oak four-poster bed, a private sitting room with a dining area, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom, providing the perfect retreat following all the excitement of the ceremony.
And of course, on either side of the big day, you and your guests can enjoy full use of the house and gardens. You may wish to arrange pre-wedding dinners or a post-wedding brunch party – simply ask and we can take care of it.
