The Historic Walled Garden

The historic and tranquil walled garden is at the heart of our estate and provides the perfect setting in which to unwind and feel the benefits of some fresh crisp Highland air.

With so many hidden corners to explore, the garden is abundant in colourful flora and native fauna. Take a gentle stroll along the perfectly maintained hedge-lined paths, enjoy a game of giant chess or read a book in a quiet spot set in the heart of the garden. Whatever the day may bring, the walled garden offers a private outdoor space where our guests can unwind and enjoy their own special Innes moment.

Activities in the Gardens

Our lawns are just the spot for some more active pursuits, whether a quick game of croquet before lunch, or an authentic Highland Games complete with caber toss and pipers! The garden is a private outdoor space where every visit creates a special “Innes moment.”

Surrounding the gardens are acres of woodland, farmland, meadows and paddocks that make up the wider Innes Estate grounds. This natural landscape provides an oasis of beauty and calm, perfect for long walks and connecting with nature.
