Innes House is located a few miles from the historic town of Elgin in the heart of Moray in the North-east of Scotland.

With so much to see throughout our 5000 acre estate and far beyond, Innes is an ideal base for exploring this magnificent corner of Scotland, nestled as it is between the Highlands to the west, Aberdeenshire to the east and the Cairngorms to the south.

The Moray Coast Trail

Celebrated as one of the world’s most beautiful coastlines, the Moray Coast greets the eye with pretty fishing villages and dramatic cliff formations. Running between the royal burghs of Forres and Cullen, The Moray Coast Trail is enjoyed by walkers, cyclists and horse riders alike and offers an ideal way to experience this impressive shoreline.

Lossiemouth Beaches and Dolphin Watching

Innes is just six miles from the popular coastal area of Lossiemouth, where guests can enjoy beautiful beaches via a two mile walk along the private Innes estate tracks. Be sure to keep an eye out for local dolphins from the shoreline – or get an even closer view with a spot of surfing…

The town of Elgin itself is equally worthy of a visit; set either side of the River Lossie, it features an array of characterful streets with shops and places to eat, alongside a beautiful cathedral and some breathtaking scenery.
